UMass Amherst Life Science Center

The new campus Life Science Laboratory (LSL) OIT Data Center Project will be comprised of approximately 6,500 square feet of raised floor area located on the second floor of LSL2 and will provide the expected levels of redundancy and operational requirements to serve the Day-One needs and designed for ease of future expansion and modification.

The estimated total project cost is $8.1million, with an estimated completion date of March 2016.

UMass Boston General Academic Building

The University Hall – General Academic Building No. 1 is about a new 194,355 gsf academic building with general and specialized classrooms, seminar rooms, student lounges, food service, auditorium, faculty and administrative offices.

The $133.5 million project was funded by the 2015 bonds, and is expected to be completed in August 2016.

UMass Lowell McGauvran Hall

The McGauvran Hall Dining Repurpose and Renovations Project is about repurposing of existing building to the main South Campus Dining Facility and demolition of the existing South Dining.

UMass Dartmouth SMAST Project

The SMAST Facility – Marine Sciences (New Bedford) Project is a state of the art marine research facility to relieve overcrowding of current facility. The $55 million project includes space for Division of Marine Fisheries, and is expected to be completed in 2017.

UMass Amherst South College Academic Facility

The South College Academic Facility Renovation/Addition Project is to renovate and make additions to accomodate classrooms and various departments needing to relocate due to closing of Bartlett Hall.

UMass Dartmouth Charlton College of Business Expansion

The Charlton College of Business Expansion Project is about the new state-of-the-art 22,000 square foot expansion of the existing facility to offer the best teaching and learning resources available that will contain critically needed space inculding classrooms, meeting spaces, an auditorium and technology enhanced areas.
